Engage, Powered by ENA, is dedicated to transforming the work environment of emergency nurses by collaborating with emergency department leaders and care teams to develop and implement tailored improvement plans.

This partnership aims to address the increasing challenges faced by emergency nurses, such as heightened stress, burnout, and workplace violence, which are exacerbated by a decreasing workforce and the growing complexities of emergency care.

The Engage Approach
At Engage, our approach involves the critical collaboration of multidisciplinary teams to engage with emergency nurses and ED leaders to build solutions for improving their work environment.
The Engage teams are composed of a full-time clinical client engagement lead and a dedicated engagement specialist(s).
How it Works
For each client, the Engage team works collaboratively with the emergency care team in co-creating and implementing a plan for building a healthy emergency nurse work environment including key milestones, custom timelines, and responsibilities.
Engage focuses on six key dimensions to achieving a healthy work environment:
