ENA issues Action Alert in support of the Lorna Breen Act

Help Combat Mental Fatigue and Burnout Among Emergency Nurses. The Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act would reauthorize the program that provides grant funding targeted at providing health care workers and students with training and education, as well as direct mental health support and resources to workers who need them.

Help Combat Mental Fatigue and Burnout Among Emergency Nurses.

The Dr. Lorna Breen Health Care Provider Protection Reauthorization Act (S. 266/H.R. 929) would reauthorize the program that provides grant funding targeted at providing health care workers and students with training and education, as well as direct mental health support and resources to workers who need them. The program also supports an evidence-based awareness campaign to inform system leaders on effective training and education strategies to reduce health care worker burnout.

Use the ENA Action Center to contact your representatives and senators and urge them to support S. 266/H.R. 929, which would continue to combat burnout and mental fatigue affecting emergency nurses.
