ENA Update on Emergency Nursing 2020

May 6, 2020 Education

Today, the Emergency Nurses Association released the following updates relating to Emergency Nursing 2020:

Given the uncertainty everyone is coping with during this ongoing public health crisis, ENA today confirmed there will be an Emergency Nursing 2020 and provided the following information relating to it:

  • Emergency Nursing 2020 will be an innovative, engaging event featuring expanded virtual conference access that brings robust emergency nursing education direct to nurses.
  • ENA continues to determine what the event will look like. ENA’s preparations for Emergency Nursing 2020 are primarily framed by the evolving local, state and federal guidelines relating to social distancing and mass gatherings. As the premier organization for emergency nurses, ENA considers the safety of our members and the public a top priority for determining the best format for Emergency Nursing 2020.
  • Registration for Emergency Nursing 2020 has been pushed back to June 1 to ensure ENA’s ability to deliver the high-quality educational programming and the kind of event emergency nurses have come to expect. The additional time also allows for ENA to share further details about this year’s event before registration opens.

ENA understands many things are very different right now – and likely will continue to be for a while. What will not change is our focus on standing with emergency nurses, especially in times like these, and putting on an exceptional event they won’t want to miss.
