ENA Receives 2022 MPL Association Humanitarian Award of Excellence

Association recognized on behalf of emergency nurses’ efforts during pandemic
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (May 12, 2022) – In recognition of emergency nurses’ extraordinary work and sacrifice throughout the U.S. and the world during the past two years, the Emergency Nurses Association on Thursday received the Medical Professional
Liability Association 2022 Humanitarian Award of Excellence.
This award is presented to individuals or organizations that have undertaken outstanding efforts to meet the needs of affected people during times of crisis or to affect long-term change to improve the human condition.
“The Association is pleased to honor emergency nurses and their significant humanitarian work,” MPL Association President and CEO Brian Atchinson stated. “They are inspiring and vital members of the health care team.”
