ENA Adds Name to Vaccine Mandate Joint Statement

August 3, 2021 COVID-19

On Tuesday, ENA President Ron Kraus released the following statement after ENA signed on to a joint statement in support of COVID-19 vaccine mandates for all workers in health and long-term care.

As we continue the fight against COVID-19 and the new threat of the Delta variant, it’s time to join other health care leaders with a strong unified voice. ENA has added its name to the joint statement in support of COVID-19 vaccine mandates for all workers in health and long-term care. It is obvious that this virus is not letting up and we can’t let up either. We cannot afford to slide backward and need to be aggressive in our fight against COVID-19. As it has since vaccines first became available, ENA urges emergency nurses, and all who are eligible, to get vaccinated.
