ENA Connection opens applications and nominations for its 20 Under 40 program
SCHAUMBURG, Ill. (March 28, 2022) – Up-and-comers in the emergency nursing field can now apply to be recognized in the Emergency Nurses Association’s member magazine, ENA Connection, as a member of its 2022 Class of 20 Under 40.
The program, now in its second year, recognizes a variety of emergency nursing professionals for their accomplishments in the specialty. Last year’s inaugural class included honorees who developed and implemented emergency nurse practitioner fellowship programs; overhauled trauma program processes; improved sepsis protocols and much more.
“The 20 Under 40 program is an excellent way for ENA to recognize the younger rockstars in the emergency nursing field,” said ENA President Jenn Schmitz, MSN, EMT-P, CEN, CPEN, CNML, FNP-C, NE-BC. “It’s exciting to see the next generation of emergency nurses contributing to and changing the profession for the better. I’m thrilled ENA’s highly regarded member magazine can share those stories.”
Those selected by a panel of reviewers – comprised of ENA members and staff – will be featured in a special issue of ENA Connection in October. Each honoree will also be recognized at Emergency Nursing 2022 in Denver and highlighted on ENA social media following the release of the issue.
For those interested in applying or nominating a peer, applications will be accepted until April 28. Learn more here.
