In Case of Emergency
Every day, in thousands of emergency departments across the globe, nurses do amazing things and often without the recognition they deserve. To help foster an even greater understanding of emergency nurses – the remarkable people they are and the amazing work they do – the Emergency Nurses Association and Carolyn Jones Productions have partnered on the award-winning “In Case of Emergency” documentary. The film takes an up-close, personal look at this special group who take on all challenges on the front lines of health care.
“In Case of Emergency” premiered in 2020 and has received multiple accolades, including winning the United Nations Association Film Festival’s Best Documentary award and receiving the Audience Award for Best Film at GlobeDocs 2020.

Renowned Documentarian
Carolyn Jones has spent the last several years interviewing, photographing and filming nurses across America while traveling to places facing some of the nation’s biggest public health issues. Her documentaries include The American Nurse, which was featured in the State Department’s American Film Showcase, and Defining Hope, recently broadcastover 1,000 times on PBS stations nationwide.
