Chris DellingerChris Dellinger, MBA, BSN, RN, FAEN, serves on the Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Board of Directors. ENA is the specialty nursing association serving the emergency nursing profession through research, publications, professional development, and emphasis on quality and patient safety.

Dellinger has spent nearly her entire career in emergency nursing, with positions as staff nurse, charge nurse, coordinator, trauma services manager, state trauma surveyor, and is currently the Director of Trauma Services and Case Management.

Dellinger has served in various roles within ENA over the past several years at the local, state and national levels. She has been the State President for West Virginia for many years. She also has served as the pediatric chairperson at the state level for many years. Dellinger has served as instructor and faculty for TNCC and ENPC, ENA’s premier courses. She has served on the Course Administrative Faculty Committee for ENA. Dellinger was instrumental in partnering with her state ACEP physician group to hold an annual summit for the past five years. She is the current president of the Mountain State Injury Prevention Coalition and is the appointed RN to the State Trauma Advisory Committee.

In 2017, she was chosen as the Leader of the Year for 2016 at Camden Clark Medical Center. She is a Fellow in the Academy of Emergency Nursing.

Chris is looking forward to being a dedicated representative in critical decisions which she says must be made to protect and promote emergency nursing practice. In addition, she is dedicated to continuing ENA’s mission of safe practice and safe care and promoting the tools to make practice safer while protecting the emergency nurse, patients, and their families. “My personal dedication to and passion for ENA is unbridled and I will embrace the opportunity to serve our members and organization,” she says.
