| Congratulations to Reneé Semonin-Holleran RN, PhD, CEN, CCRN, CFRN, FAEN who will be serving as the ENA’s new JEN editor. An ENA member since 1977, Reneé is currently the Nurse Manager in the Adult Transport Services, Intermountain Life Flight in Salt Lake City, Utah. In addition, she has vast research experience and has contributed to numerous publications, including Sheehy’s Emergency Nursing, Air Medical Journal, and Journal of Emergency Nursing. |

| Needed—TNCC Instructor Input

| As the TNCC revision process moves forward, the work team members are asking for your assistance in piloting the new scenarios for the skill stations. If you are a current TNCC Instructor and you will be attending the ENA Annual Conference in San Antonio, please consider volunteering your time to help the work team on Sunday, September 17 from 8:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. The work team is looking for your feedback on the scenarios before the TNCC revision is rolled out in 2007 (no date yet!).

Join 2006 ENA President Nancy Bonalumi, RN, MS, CEN, and the ENA Board of Directors at the ENA Annual Conference for this one hour meeting. The Town Hall Meeting will be held in Ballroom A at the Henry B. Gonzalez Convention Center, San Antonio, Texas on Wednesday, September 13, 4:15-5:15 p.m. This is your opportunity to gather with your fellow ENA members in a town hall meeting format. Get involved and address your ideas, concerns or comments directly to the ENA Board of Directors.
Let your voice be heard! If you cannot attend the meeting, you may submit questions in advance. E-mail your question to Yuen Atkins at yatkins@ena.org by August 31. The Town Hall Meeting will be available via audio cast on the ENA Web site (www.ena.org) after the meeting. |
