Emergency Nurses CARE is the Injury Prevention Institute of the Emergency Nurses Association and as such has the support and invaluable assistance of its staff in Des Plaines, Illinois. The accounting staff processes all revenue and expenses. The development and marketing staff assists in those areas. All supplies and merchandise is handled through the Des Plaines office.

Volunteers - emergency health care professionals nationwide have been trained to present the alcohol awareness programs. There is a network of alcohol awareness instructors around the country who can provide training for nurses, EMTs and paramedics. More than 1,000 nurses have been trained as child passenger safety technicians and/or instructors. Many others do gun safety activities such as distributing free trigger locks and educational materials to parents and other adults. Volunteers also present bike and safety programs.
