Is your State up to the 2008 State Challenge?
ENAF State Challenge Campaign has begun!
The rules are simple; the goal is clear … to increase financial support for the ENA Foundation, enabling the Foundation to establish additional research grants and educational scholarships. The Foundation invites all state councils, chapters and individuals to join the 2008 State Challenge, a grass roots fundraising campaign.
Here is how it works:
- ENA State Councils are asked to work with local chapters and individuals to raise funds to support the Foundation.
- Each ENA State Council is asked to raise a minimum of $1.00 per member.
- State Councils raising $5,000 or more will have the opportunity to name a 2009 ENAF Advance Practice Scholarship. Contributions less then $5,000 will be pooled to create additional scholarships.
- Your State Council has two chances to win a FREE registration scholarship for a deserving member to attend the 2008 ENA Annual Conference, in Minneapolis, Minnesota. The two Challenge categories are:
- The State Council with the largest total contribution and
- The State Council with the largest per capita contribution
- The ENAF State Challenge will run from March 1 – June 30, 2008

Fatten those Piggy Banks – To assist you with that task, state leaders in attendance at the State Leader’s Orientation in Chicago this past December received a piggybank to utilize at their state or chapter meetings. Empty your pockets at your next meeting, and give your spare change to the ENA Foundation.
For more information about how you can participate in the 2008 ENA State Challenge, contact your state president or a member of the ENA Development and Foundation staff today. |
