PROGRAM DESCRIPTION:
This one-hour Web seminar will utilize process-based training and problem-based learning techniques for teaching, emphasizing the type of critical thinking crucial to the competent emergency department nurse. Using these techniques, the ED educator or manager can structure and evaluate orientation programs that can bring both the new graduate and the nurse new to emergency nursing to a level of proficiency that ensures both confidence and patient safety.

For best results, a high-speed internet connection is recommended. Telephone access is also required. On the day of the event, sign on should be no sooner than five minutes before the event.
