ALTERNATE TESTING METHODS

In an effort to make testing more convenient BCEN has arranged for two alternate testing methods. The following testing methods are available upon written request to the BCEN office a minimum of 90 days prior to the intended exam date. Unfortunately, due to the special arrangements that are required BCEN has to maintain strict guidelines in order to implement these options.

Option 1: Paper and pencil testing administered at an approved testing location in your hospital education department or local area college.

Option 2: Computer based testing (CBT), via laptop computers, to be administered at an approved testing location in your hospital education department or local area college. (Maximum of 60 people)

To request an alternate testing method in your area please review the following information and complete the Alternate Testing Method Request form. The form can be faxed to BCEN at 847/460-2631 or emailed to bcen@ena.org. For additional information please contact the BCEN office at 847/460-2630 or 800/900-9659 ext. 2630.
