ENA Affiliates

ENA prides itself on listening closely to emergency nurses and acting on behalf of their interests. So, we formed several affiliate organizations to serve particular needs and provide a forum for discussion of problems and opportunities.

ENA Foundation is a charitable organization dedicated to research, education, and program development. It provides educational scholarships, and research and project development grants that support worthwhile investigations and implementations focused on emergency care.

In order to maintain and protect the high standards of emergency nursing, ENA maintains an alliance with the Board of Certification for Emergency Nursing (BCEN). Originally established by ENA, BCEN is now an independent organization that administers the Certified Emergency Nurse Examination (CEN) and Certified Flight Registered Nurse Examination (CFRN). Today, more than 27,000 professionals proudly display their certification credentials.
